This year’s event tackled succession models and types of employment policies for family members including a deep dive into the Mohammed I. Alsubeaei & Sons Investment Company (MASIC) family case.
We also explored the legal frameworks, including mediation and arbitration mechanisms, to resolve conflict for GCC families including sharing the initial findings from the FBCG conflict resolution study.
For the first time this year, we imparted from convention to close the day with a practical and interactive workshop on conflict resolution and managing difficult conversations, facilitated by Nicolas Hollanders de Ouderaen. It was great to see so many of you engage in the ‘sneak peek’ into our latest family business case book – due to be released to all members in early 2020.
