Mohamed Hussain Al Nowais is the Managing Director of Waha Capital, a leading investment management company listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) with a market capitalization of approximately US$1 billion. His leadership at Waha Capital reflects his extensive experience and deep expertise in the investment sector.

In addition to his role at Waha Capital, Mr. Al Nowais serves as the Managing Director of AMEA Power, a prominent developer, owner, and operator of renewable and thermal power projects across Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. Under his guidance, AMEA Power has expanded its footprint in emerging markets, playing a vital role in meeting the region's energy demands through sustainable solutions.

Mr. Al Nowais is also an Executive Director at AlNowais Investments, where he oversees a diversified portfolio targeting high-growth sectors. These sectors include oil & gas, petrochemicals, energy, engineering and construction, real estate and hospitality, healthcare, and information, communication & technology. His strategic insight and industry knowledge have been key to the company's continued success and growth.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Al Nowais developed his financial expertise as an Investment Associate at the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) and as an Investment Banking Analyst with J.P. Morgan in New York, USA. He also gained valuable experience through internships with leading international financial institutions, including HSBC in Abu Dhabi, UAE and Citi Bank in London, UK.

Mr. Al Nowais also serves as a member of the Board of Directors at Al Dhafra Insurance Company, Abu Dhabi National Industrial Projects (ADNIP), and Waha Capital, where he contributes to the strategic direction and governance of these organizations.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree with joint honours in Economics and Business Finance from Brunel University in London, UK, and has completed CFA Level 1.
